Dental Assistant

Shine Family Dental Surgery is hiring a full-time Dental Assistant in Wyndham Vale, VIC. We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to support multiple dentists in a busy dental practice. The role includes chairside assistance during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, infection control and sterilisation, assisting with dental radiographs, patient preparation, and reception duties. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of relevant experience and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Duties:

• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during general dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms, dental instruments, and materials before procedures
• Maintain infection control, sterilisation, and follow clinic safety protocols
• Assist with dental radiographs (X-rays)
• Prepare patients for treatment and provide post-operative care
• Maintain accurate patient and clinical records
• Support multiple dentists to ensure smooth daily operations
• Assist with basic reception and patient coordination duties

Skills & Experience:

• Relevant dental assisting qualification or equivalent experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant
• Strong understanding of infection control procedures
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
