WHAT YOU'D DO

A Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in the bank’s databases and systems. This role ensures that all information is reliable, complete, and processed in a timely manner to support operations, reporting, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter customer, financial, and operational data accurately into banking systems.
  • Verify information for completeness and accuracy before input.
  • Update and maintain records in compliance with company policies.
  • Review and correct errors in existing data.
  • Prepare reports or summaries as required.
  • Assist in administrative tasks and documentation management.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless data flow.
Required Skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong typing and computer skills (MS Office, Excel, and database software).
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic analytical skills to identify inconsistencies in data.
  • Good communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
Qualifications
  • High School Certificate (Year 12) or equivalent minimum; a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Administration, or IT is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in data entry, administration, or clerical work preferred.
  • Familiarity with banking systems or financial software is a plus.
