Server

As a Server at Hecho en Mexico, you’ll be the face of the restaurant, providing a warm and welcoming experience for guests. You’ll take food and beverage orders, serve meals and drinks promptly, and ensure that guests have an enjoyable and authentic Mexican dining experience. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen or bar.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring presentation and quality meet standards.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu, daily specials, and promotions.
• Handle customer concerns or complaints professionally and promptly.
• Process payments and operate POS systems accurately.
• Keep tables and service areas clean and organized.
• Collaborate with kitchen, bar, and other floor staff to ensure smooth service.
• Comply with food safety and responsible service of alcohol regulations.

• No formal education required; hospitality experience preferred.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate (mandatory for serving alcohol in Australia).
• Previous experience in a restaurant, café, or bar is advantageous.
• Good spoken English; additional languages can be a plus.
