We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook/Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, particularly Indian cuisine, while maintaining excellent standards of taste, presentation, hygiene and food safety. The ideal candidate will have strong culinary skills, relevant qualifications and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

• Preparing and cooking a wide range of food items in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards.
• Planning menus and assisting in the development of new dishes.
• Food preparation and ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, safety, and sanitation in compliance with relevant regulations.
• Maintaining stock levels and assisting with ordering and inventory management.
• Maintaining proper storage and handling of food products.
• Coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service.
• Training and assisting junior kitchen staff when required.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

• Proficiency in food preparation and culinary techniques.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Cook/Chef or similar role.
• Certificate IV or higher qualification in related field.
• Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine and use of Indian spices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
